“If only Jesus and Paul would have had our present methods, curriculum, and our agendas to use in our discipleship they probably would have been more effective in sharing the gospel and reaching the world in their day, but alas, they only had the name of Jesus, intimacy with Him, and Holy Spirit to equip them.”

There is a reality here: we all need a check-up from the neck up! We all know that in Paul’s day, they were turning the world upside down for Jesus.

If we have furthered ourselves so much through our discovery theologically of all of the methods and agendas that we should be using to reach the world, why aren’t we doing it? How could they turn the world upside down and we struggle to get someone to receive Jesus?

Do we consider our words more powerful than Jesus’ presence? We continue to look for new methods to reach the world. We need to bring the presence of Jesus as we walk like Jesus in intimacy.

Let’s get back to the simplicity of the Gospel, the simplicity of the relationship: intimacy with the Father, where all have the right to hear, prophesy, and lay hands on the sick.

We need to occupy the anointing. And the anointing is Jesus Christ, the Father, and the Holy Spirit.
