I wonder if sometimes God talks to me more than I listen. A good conversation requires listening. I find that my most important conversations with Jesus is not when I’m seeking to have Him speak to me, but rather it’s when I’m listening… when I am aware of His presence. How is it that we have this thought that if I don’t initiate contact with some holy rhetoric that Jesus is not going to speak? God is talking. Are we listening? Quiet times are precious times with Jesus.
