PRAYER… (Matthew 21:13)

Why don’t we experience what we are told in the New Testament?

Jesus modeled a house of prayer for us. The Church is to look like Jesus.

Prayer in the Old Testament is a servant coming before a king and bringing petitions. It requires a knowledge of a king but not necessarily intimate relationship with him.

Prayer in the New Testament is about being children of God and coming to Him in relational intimacy.
