Neil talks about how important it is to have Jesus at our foundation and uses a computer analogy to illustrate this truth.

The Lord started talking with me about keeping things in order in our lives. Why is it that people always have an excuse for not having Jesus in everything they do?

We add Jesus in when it’s convenient when He is not primary to EVERYTHING we do. There is a foundational program in my “hard drive” so that everything operates from the place of Christ – not separately. If you say you love Jesus, He has to be a part of your foundational programming. Jesus is the base function that keeps it in the right place so that I can function in the place of being all He needs me to be to see people find freedom in Him. For a lot of people, Jesus is an add-on program. Like the clothes I wear. They change my appearance, but not my heart.
