60 years of walking with Jesus… and I’m still getting revelations of who He is and the high price He paid for my friendship and to walk with me.
We need to bring God’s presence and cause people to receive Jesus (the Word) and live in that. He didn’t say to go and change their culture to be like yours.
Are we willing to see and ask, is this man’s tradition or is this what God’s word actually says? Am I choosing to interpret God’s word so it make me comfortable in what I want to do? Or am I listening? Prayer will bring God’s presence, but obedience to repent and change direction will bring salvation.
I enjoyed this today Neil. I am resting and basking in God and simplicity. I have so much to be thankful for. God has given me so very much. I want to share it with others and am actively trying to. But alot of it is just waiting on Holy Spirit and being willing.
I have a brother whose kidney is failing but He has reconnected with God and with me. I am enjoying the laughs and comaderie that we had before and are now being restored. I have another brother in prison and he had cut off communication when I had previously expressed my concerns that he ask forgiveness of his vicitms and be restored. I repented to God for my way of thinking and reconnected with that brother to just let him know that I truly do believe there is NO ONE who is beyond redemption. God told me that it is between God and him what he is forgiven for or not. No matter what. I have a sister who is manifesting bipolar breakdown and we are praying that the generational curse of that be broken.
God has been so good to me. If it were not for His mercy and grace there I would be also. Jesus gave me a sane and sober mind. Jesus put in me a fierce love of Truth. And Jesus planted me in family and churches that taught me how to trust and obey.
I too am aging like you and I want to see as many captives set free as I can before I leave this earth!
Thank you Neil. It’s so true that His presence is what changes us and others. We love Him to Life! 😊
